Pawpaw Leaf Pink

Here under the pawpaw leaves I lay swinging in a hammock breathing out the worries of the day.

Artwork are created by Carla Russo, a local Darwin artist who is fascinated with the power of colour to change atmospheres and moods. She creates bright and colourful artworks to evoke positive emotions and to draw attention to the beauty in our surroundings. Carla mainly works with acrylic paint on canvas and is curious about loosely representing unique elements of Darwin life through bright brush strokes that are often encircled with contrasting lines. She fondly refer to these as colour gems.
